AXLE/WHEEL

THE SCALE WORKS  offers axle scales for both installed (permanent) and portable applications. Axle-Wheel scales are great for verifying axle load which can minimize fines and maximize loads. Permanent/pit type axle scales are generally more accurate as the vehicle will be more along the same plane as the scale surface. Portables are available in heights as low as six (6) inches with a variety of lengths and widths from which to choose. The height will not greatly effect weighing accuracy and the scales can be moved, generally with a forklift . We can supply only the equipment to you or perform complete turnkey installations as your needs require. Controls are available to alarm for over weighments that will alert personnel/drivers of out of spec loads. Below are a few types we distribute and install.
